From Interstate 91 southbound (from Springfield):
Take Exit 35B (Rt. 218--Windsor/Bloomfield). At bottom of exit ramp, turn right onto Cottage Grove Road (Rt.
218). Proceed 4.3 miles until the road bends sharply to the left. Follow the bend to the left (remaining on Rt. 218) and proceed another 0.8 miles to a stoplight at the intersection of Rt. 218 with Rt. 185 (Simsbury Road). Continue straight through the intersection, and take your first right (just past the intersection) onto Still Road. Proceed 0.9 miles to the end of Still Road, then turn left onto Mountain Road. Proceed 1.2 miles to the Gledhill Nursery entrance (use the first entrance), on your left at 660 Mountain Road. If you pass reach a traffic light, you've gone about 1000 feet too far.
From Interstate 91 northbound (from Meriden/New Haven):
Take Exit 32 (I-84 West). Once on I-84, get immediately into the right-hand lane, and take Exit 48 (Asylum Avenue). At the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Asylum Avenue. Proceed 2.9 miles to Trout Brook Drive. Turn right onto Trout Brook Drive, then proceed 0.6 miles to Albany Avenue (Rt. 44). Turn left onto Albany Avenue, then proceed 1.3 miles to Mountain Road. Turn right onto Mountain Road. The Gledhill Nursery entrance (use the third entrance) will be 1000 feet on your right.
From Interstate 84 eastbound (from Southington/Waterbury):
Take Exit 40 (New Britain Avenue). Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto New Britain Avenue, then immediately turn
right onto Ridgewood Road. Proceed 1.5 miles to Sedgwick Road. Turn left onto Sedgwick Road. Sedgwick Road immediately bends to the right and becomes Mountain Road. Proceed
2.8 miles past this bend to a traffic light (Albany Avenue). Continue straight through the intersection, and the entrance to Gledhill Nursery (use the third entrance) will be 1000 feet on your right.
From Interstate 84 westbound (from East Hartford/Manchester):
Take Exit 48 (Asylum Avenue). At the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Asylum Avenue. Proceed 2.9 miles to Trout Brook Drive. Turn right onto Trout Brook Drive, then proceed 0.6 miles to Albany Avenue (Rt. 44). Turn left onto Albany Avenue, then proceed 1.3 miles to Mountain Road. Turn right onto Mountain Road. The Gledhill Nursery entrance (use the third entrance) will be 1000 feet on your right.
Directions for tractor trailers:
Take I-84 west or east to Exit 43 (Park Road). Take a right at the end of
the exit and then a quick left onto Trout Brook Drive. Proceed 2.8 miles
to Albany Avenue (Rt. 44) intersection. Turn left onto Albany Avenue and
proceed 1.6 miles to traffic light at intersection of Mountain Road (large brick
condo complex will be on your right just before this intersection). Turn
right onto Mountain Road. Gledhill Nursery is 1000 feet on your
right. IMPORTANT: Use the first entrance (next to the mailbox) for
trucks. STOP just after pulling into driveway and walk down to the large
garden center building for instructions.
